This is the initial step to the rewarding career as a Personal Trainer. An introductory study into anatomy, muscle physiology, cardiovascular physiology, kinesiology, client evaluation, program design, and the tools necessary to start your career will be covered.
This course covers the essentials and fundamentals of applied exercise science as it relates to personal fitness training of healthy populations. Safety, exercise physiology, assessment, nutrition basics, application of exercise concepts and principles, program design, and proper biomechanics are taught and emphasized throughout the course.

TrueTurnPro Personal Trainer Course 1:00pm - 5:00pm

Rotation is fundamental to human movement and needed for daily living activities as well as sports and athletics. The TrueTurnPro is the world’s first thoracic spine isolation and rotation device, it enhances trunk/spinal ROM and increases strength and stability of the spine. In this course, you will learn the concepts of rotary ground force training and “locking” the upper kinetic chain, how and when to integrate exercises using the TrueTurnPro to enhance ROM and core muscular engagement. You will learn proper exercise techniques for foundational exercises using the TrueTurnPro, including coaching and cueing tips you can utilize in your overall programming.

“Unbreakable” equips fitness professionals with trauma-informed principles to create safer, more effective movement experiences for clients with trauma histories. The AAAI Group Fitness Instructor Certification is designed to help participants understand knowledge as it pertains to the teaching of group based exercise classes. Participants will review: proper group fitness components (warm up, aerobic exercise, flexibility exercise, strength exercise, cool down), utilization of the F.I.T.T. principle, proper biomechanics, safety, heart rate training techniques, anatomy, and training principles. Also, reviewed during the course is group fitness teaching strategies and the incorporation of music, tempo, cueing technique, safe transitional movements, and rhythm.
Kettlebell Basics 1: Swing, Squat and Get-up 9:00am - 12:00pm

Learn the secrets to kettlebell mastery with the Super Seven Kettlebell movements as taught by Master Instructor Professor Phil Ross, M.S. You will learn the Kettlebell Swing, Clean, Squat, Press, Row, Snatch and the Turkish Get-up. The learners will be instructed in the movements and strategies of the Hardstyle, Russian Kettlebell methodology in addition to creation if strength through accessing the stabilizers and improving strength through the full range of motion. The 5 Components of Fitness are all addressed with special attention afforded Muscular Fitness: Strength, Explosive Power and Muscular Endurance.
Mat Pilates Instructor Certification 9:00am - 5:00pm

This training program will teach you the foundations and modifications for instructing a Basic Pilates Mat class.
You will review anatomy and physiology basics as it relates to the foundation drills. Learn how to break down the biomechanics of these movements for all fitness levels. Understand spinal deviations, alignment and breathing cues, and contraindications for special populations in your classes. Learn how to execute a warm-up followed with smooth transitions from one exercise to the next and a final cool-down stretch. Leave with a successful class format, which offers modifications, that you can teach your students time and time again.

This specialty certification will assist certified group exercise instructors and personal trainers who wish to work with an older adult population (65+) in the development, execution and evaluation of an exercise program. Rhabdomyolysis (“rhabdo”) is a serious medical condition that can be triggered by exercise, yet many fitness professionals receive little formal education about it. In some cases, well-intentioned trainers and group fitness instructors may unknowingly contribute to workouts that place clients at risk.
In this practical and engaging session, Joe Cannon, MS, author of one of the first books on exercise-induced rhabdomyolysis, explains what every fitness professional needs to know about this condition and how to reduce the risk in the clients they work with.

Register for the One Wordl Conference and earn CEC's towards renewal of your AAAI/ISMA, AFAA, and NASM Certifications. Add on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday Fitness Certification or Specialty Workshop to make a wonderful weekend of education and fitness fun!
Can I earn CEC's and gain a new certification?
Yes! You can earn a new certification and the continuing education credits will automatically be added to your AAAI/ISMA renewals.
How do I renew my existing AAAI/ISMA Certifications?
After you attend our One World Conference, simply pay the $20 (each) renewal fees here.
